Beautiful works of art in both form and function. Im new to waterfowl calling, and I think I’m hooked on the calls themselves. The Suzie is much louder than my first duck call, a Duck Commander Jase Robertson Pro, and it can also get quiet without changing its tone. It is very easy to make duck sounds with in different ranges, even for a beginner like myself. The Axe is a different story for me however. This is my first goose call ever and I struggle to make goose sounds with it. It is no problem of the call itself, just my own ability. Oh I also live on Kauai and there are no ducks or geese here to hunt. I’ve only seen ducks when I was stationed in Kentucky, where I would go to Dunbar Cave park to feed them on the weekends. Geese we would see flying over head in their v formations. Hopefully one day, after much practice, I will travel back to the mainland and try calling to some wild ducks and geese to see if they’ll respond.
