Description
Logging built the Northwest, including Idaho’s Clearwater region. Now, inspired by the individuals whose endurance and dependability shaped our mountain home, we’re taking a leaf out of their book. Introducing the Clearwater Logger Elk Reed — an all-around great call that won’t quit until you do.
The Clearwater Logger Elk Reed can do it all. Made with red .004” latex, it’s got a medium stretch that can accommodate anything it’s asked to do, over and over. Blow a bunch of air into it and you’ll get decent volume, but don’t be afraid to try it out on those softer calls as well. The latex in the Clearwater Logger Elk Reed can absolutely take soft air pressure and achieve a good nasal tone. Elk callers from both the high air pressure and low air pressure sides can make this call run.
This is a highly versatile diaphragm, capable of producing cow, calf and bull sounds. Overall, we’d describe it as a midrange call — not as loud or high pitched as some, but it’s got a great buzz to it, and at the end of the day, you’ll find it’s just as dependable for getting the job done as the hardworking Clearwater loggers it was named for.
Slayer gives 10% from each purchase to organizations that protect the environment and wildlife, support conservation efforts, and preserve America’s hunting heritage.
