How you doing? Bill Ayer with Slayer Calls. I’m super proud to bring to you today a product that we’ve been developing over the last two years. It’s called the Enchantress. This is a push button call for people who cannot use a mouth diaphragm. One of the reasons we came up with this call was we were at multiple different shows and people would come up, “Hey, do you have anything for people that can’t use a mouth diaphragm?” We’re, “No, not yet, but we’re working on it.”

So I don’t know what percentage it is of people that can’t use a mouth diaphragm, but it’s a large percentage of elk hunters who would love to go bow hunting, love to call in bugle and bawls, but they just can’t do it because they can’t use mouth diaphragms. So we came up with this push button call right here that allows you to use a mouth diaphragm outside of your mouth.

So I’m going to go ahead and show this to you. This is pretty cool stuff. So here you can see the diaphragm that we’re using. And then inside here, what we’ve done is we’ve developed a silicone tongue. We’ve analyzed what the tongue’s doing to the reed inside your mouth. We’ve formed that to be in the exact position or form that it should be touching the reed.

And then we’ve gone a step further, and what we did with the silicone is we tested different consistencies and textures and hardnesses and kind of playing around with our tongues, kind of goofy. But that’s what we were sitting there feeling each other’s tongues or our own tongues and trying to see what that consistency was. So we pretty much got it dialed in that that is acting just like a human tongue. And so when you’re pushing this button, it is going down onto that reed and making the sounds that you need to make to sound like a real elk. So that just clicks on here like that. This is down like that, and you simply just blow into it to make your different noises that you want to make. Cow sounds here.

That’s as simple as it gets. I mean, we’ve had people’s wives grab this: within two or three tries, they’re making awesome cow sounds. There’s nothing on the market like this that’s making that good of a cow sound, and then to take it one step further we’ve built in this call it. It’s a half turn call it. So it simply goes onto the bugle. Half turn, it’s on there. It’s not going anywhere. It’s on there for good. So now you have the same exact thing going on, but now you have a bugle.

I mean, it is stupid simple. Anybody can use it, a six year old kid, 90-year-old man, somebody who’s never been able to use a mouth reed. I’m telling you if you want to go out hunting in the woods during September and calling bugle and bawls, this is the product that you need to get. That’s about it.
